Now Hiring: InfoSec Team Member; Information Security Engineer – The Information Security Engineer position provides technical problem-solving and support to HighTechniques. entire customer base. This position is integral in adding value to our customer relationships via the skill and service this position provides.
Goals and Responsibilities:
Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to prospects, customers and vendors.
Troubleshoot various technical issues; network, system, etc, ensuring complete customer satisfaction with the resolution provided (must develop the ability to do so)
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of HighTechniques. offerings, their implementation & use within a client environment, and what the common challenges may be
Assist in the customer retention process by proactively contacting customers to ensure their satisfaction and renewal of product and services
Participate in improving the company.s support process by creating knowledgebase articles and product solutions
Administer and enforce customer service, technical support, sales, and marketing policies
Perform technical Product demonstrations for sales prospects or at trade shows, as back-up to sales engineers
Perform penetration tests or vulnerability assessments for customers, as part of our Services offerings
Refer calls as appropriate & use various internal systems for cross-functional communication
Requirements:
Ability to work in a team and independently
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Experience with Windows and Linux Variants
Knowledge of networking, vulnerability scanners, penetration testing
Experience with configuring and interacting with LDAP, Active Directory, and SNMP
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP; familiar with protocols: MSRPC, NetBIOS, SMB, HTTP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, etc.
Excellent organizational, communication, writing and interpersonal skills
Proven time and management abilities
Ability to provide 24x7 support on a rotational basis using cell phone and remote access tools.
